At Limelight Tile & Ceramics, we want you to have choices when it comes to choosing the perfect glaze for ceramic tile, so we offer 300+ (honestly we stopped counting a long time ago) glazes and that number continues to grow. To help you with the selection process, we created a gallery for our primary line of glazes. Even though we are continually expanding our glazes, we want you to know we can make custom glazes for our clients. We can assist you with color matching, hand-painted designs, natural clay body, metallic, and satin matte. Handmade and hand-glazed ceramic will have a natural variation which is part of the beauty and appeal.

Craftsman Collection

These glazes are where we take advantage of true beauty of ceramics. Mixing various materials and letting chemistry do its thing at almost 2200ºF. The results bear natural reactions that depending on the glaze, can be very stable to intense variation where each tile will be all it's own, much like a snowflake.

Extruded Line

The Extruded Line is our solution to being competitive in the flat, “subway” styled, USA made tile world. It started with the 3×9 a few years ago, and is now available in a number of sizes and shapes. The Extruded Glaze Line is currently comprised of 42 standard glazes, and while it may change pricing or lead time, our other glazes or custom are available as well!

Limelight Tile & Ceramics is an official licensee of The Homer Laughlin China Company, the maker of FIESTA® Dinnerware.

High Fire White Clay Body

Low Fire Red Clay Body

As you can see below, the low-fire red glazes have a hint of red in all of the colors. Depending on the specifics of your design, using red clay to make the tile instead of white, might be the ideal option. Everything depends on the final product that you are searching for when it comes to a custom color ceramic tile. If you do not like any of our 300+ color options, our team can craft a unique mixture to create the ideal color for your tile project.

Low Fire White Clay Body

With our low fire line made from white clay, there are so many choices when it comes to bright colors for your design. The brighter colors will add a nice touch if you want to make a focal point in the room with your custom ceramic tiles.

Footnote: Recently a key material in our low fire clay has become unavailable due to a mine permanently closing. We’re using it as a final incentive to switch over to using our porcelain as our only white clay body. That said, the glazes on this page are now more of an example of the palette. We have already begun replacing them, and if you are interested in one that we have not done yet it moves to the top of the list. Beyond that, we’ll explain the whole process with you while discussing your project.
